It has been a good year.

A goodish year. 

Things were up and things were down.

I’m happy to be this side of the dirt. 

It has been a tall year. 

Mistakes were made, others will be blamed, an adequate time was had by all. 

I will say this: I have had me a good time. 

My brother is here with me and we might just make it all the way to midnight.
