I’ve done some stupid things and had some hairy experiences, most of them not caused by the stupid things I’ve done. For the most part, I’ve come through unscathed, but not unschooled.

I’m thankful that I’ve lived to tell the tale when, in retrospect, at least a few  of those times, I shouldn’t have walked away.
