Daddy called me yesterday.
We talked about the weather first. We nearly always talk about the weather first, because if one of us is hot, we like to make sure the other is suffering equally.
I asked him what he was doing and he was watching golf.
I reckoned that must be exciting.
“Gets much hotter, the golf balls are gone hatch.”
“Chickens or baby alligators?”
“Golfers, dummy.”
Your daddy makes me laugh, too 🙂
He’s a funny one.
Speaking of funny, remember that huge pink house we drove back and forth past, the one that was so huge we could see the back of it from the other street? Well, here’s a link to the history of it: http://www.buckhead.net/homes/villa/index.html
Their 1100-sq-ft guest cottage is almost twice the size of my first house. I wish they had some interior pictures! The floor plans are really neat.
I find it interesting that a Ruth Pattillo rented it as a boarding house. Mostly because thats my last name and generally in our family you can tell how closely we are related to someone based on the spelling of the last name (there are only about 12 variants) So the odds are good that its close…..or kinda close.
I thought about that when I was reading it.
There used to be a Dr. Pattillo at the VA in Dublin. Any relation?
